Show and Tell Tuesday - October

Let me start off by saying that this is not my house.  Focus on the trees in the background.  The weather has been in the 60's - perfect walking weather! I have been going for a lot of walks. The only bad part is the gloominess.  That brings me to this pic. I was on one of my walks. The light hit the trees in such a way that there was an amazing golden sunlight.  It was spectacular in person - a pic cannot capture this! On my next lap around, the sunlight was gone and everything was once again in a dreary haze. At least I was paying attention while it was there!

This was courtesy of one of third grade team members. She knows how crazy my students are and has brought me chocolate to help me get through the days! So sweet (both literally and figuratively)! 😀

Have you been to Kohl's recently?  I went this past weekend and saw these books.  I love The Monster at the End of This Book!  It is a favorite in our family. The sequel is just as cute. I may have stocked up on books and the plush animals for my niece!

Over the weekend, I went to an EdCamp.  It was great! I love the learning opportunities and collaboration! I am super excited to read this book.  It is a signed copy, my door prize!  I love all the Pirate books!

  2. The foliage is finally looking nicer here in Connecticut too. It seemed to be getting a late start! I love when the light hits the trees like that. Isn't it amazing how much chocolate can lift your mood? My colleague left me a piece yesterday. Have a nice weekend!
