Weekly Recap - The Good and the Bad

Here's a quick recap of my week, starting with the Bad but ending with a positive note on the Good.

I managed to throw my back out this week.  It has made teaching a huge challenge! Luckily, my class was extra helpful.  Basically, it just made for a miserable week for me. 😕

1.  Parent Teacher Conferences - We had our conferences today.  They went really well!  I had 12/18 parents show up.  These were probably my most productive conferences ever.  If you have your own conferences coming up, check out this freebie by clicking the pic below.

2.  Weekly Breakfast - Does your school have a social committee?  We do! One of my favorite activities is Friday breakfast.  You sign up one time to bring breakfast and then enjoy it for the rest of the year.  I had my breakfast this week and was hooked on Pinterest foods!  Here are some pics of my favorite items.

3.  Pajama Day - I love dressing up for Red Ribbon Week, especially when we are able to wear pajamas!  I also took this opportunity to put a fireplace video on YouTube. We spent the morning cozily reading in front of the "fire." I was a little bummed that the rain had finally stopped so it was a bit bright out.  Oh well! It was still awesome!

4.  Let's end on a fun note! For the first time ever, I told a student that there was no way he could grow up to be...

A Fox! He wanted to be a Fox when he grows up!

How was your week?
What was good and bad for you?
