Wednesday Organization - Organizing Your Pinterest Boards

Confessions of a Frazzled Teacher

Normally I keep Tech Tips to Tuesday. This week, however, I wanted to share how to organize your Pinterest boards. If you are like me, you use Pinterest a lot! To get the most out of it, it helps to have an order to your boards. This will let you easily find pins in the future.

Materials Needed:

* Your Computer

How to Do This:

First move your boards in an order that appeals to you. I like mine mostly in ABC order although I have a couple of boards that I want on top. Then subdivide your larger boards into sections. To help you see how to do this, I made a quick video.

Benefits of Organizing Your Pinterest Boards:

I don't have a lot of free time during the school year. I still want new ideas and resources to try. Organizing the boards, especially with the Section button, you will be able to easily find a pin that you are looking for or find pins in a certain area much faster! For example, I have hundreds of pins in my Reading board. By breaking it down into sections, I can find my pins on Main Idea or Vocabulary within seconds.

Don't wait for the school year to start working on this! It will not get done! This is a great summer project! Good luck getting your boards organized!

What do you need help organizing in your classroom?
