Thanks for stopping by this summer to Tech Tip Tuesday! This week will be the last one in the summer series. Join me throughout the school year, and I will definitely share some new tips from time to time. For our last week, however, I thought that I would leave you with an EPIC tip!
What is Epic?
Epic is a resource that allows you access to over 25,000 eBooks, learning videos, quizzes, and more. When you sign up for an account, you can create a class. This allows you to assign reading for students and use all sorts of activities in your classroom.
How Do I Get Started?
1. Sign up for free HERE. If you are just looking at their main page, it looks like there is a fee. This is for parents that sign up. There is a page just for educators. Make sure to sign up here.
2. Once you are signed up, you have access to the books and can create your class. Take the time to play around with this resource.

Some Notes...
There is no app for this on Kindles. This makes me sad, but it can be accessed in other ways online. Beggars cannot be choosers!
Epic seriously increases the size of all classroom libraries. Use them as a whole group read aloud, small group book discussion, etc. Happy Reading!
