Weekly Recap - The Good and the Bad

Confessions of a Frazzled Teacher

It's my last week of summer break! Where has the time gone?

Confessions of a Frazzled Teacher

My Classroom - It's still not complete. I have a lot of stuff to go through. At least all the main items are done - classroom library, bulletin boards, my 'desk area' (I got rid of my actual desk this year!), and center shelves. I'll post pics when it's actually done. This sounds like it should be done, but I have lots of junk all over the students desks and on my tables. I have to figure out what it all is and where it belongs.

My Parents - They helped me BIG time this week. My Dad put together a bookshelf and fixed a couple of others that need TLC. My Mom did my bulletin boards, hung posters, etc. The list is endless!

Last Vacation - Right now, I am on my last vacation of summer, my annual trip to Michigan. I spent yesterday shopping adorable little stores and today was a beach day - climbing a sand dune and swimming in Lake Michigan.

I climbed this monster sand dune, which my sister and I nicknamed Mount Warren years ago!

This is the top of Mount Warren. The tiny ant-like items are the cars in the parking lot. It's a lot bigger than it appears in the top pic!
