The Good and the Bad

Confessions of a Frazzled Teacher

Woo-hoo! I am officially on Thanksgiving Break! I am looking forward to a week off, so I can sleep!

Confessions of a Frazzled Teacher

Behavior - This is the ongoing issue this year. It's driving me crazy. It's like two steps forward, one step back. I'm up to 5 students on different behavior plans. It's not working too well. I need to try something new!

Rounding - We did a rounding blitz this week to get students to remember how to round. As one boy said, "I feel like rounding jumped back into my brain." I feel so much better after reviewing with my students. From now on, we will complete a quick review one day a week, so it stays fresh in the kids' minds.

Food in the Classroom - I love working in a school that allows food in the classroom. We did a variety of food related tasks - cranberry experiments, making butter, and creating pumpkin pie (in a bag).

How was your week?
What was good and bad for you?
