The Weekly Recap - The Good and the Bad

Confessions of a Frazzled Teacher

My week ended with one boy scream crying because another boy had the nerve to call him by his name. I still don't understand. Oh yeah! I also had another boy poop his pants. Thank goodness it's a three day weekend!

Smell - One boy was so gassy this week that I had to go to the nurse. I started gagging and thought I was going to lose my breakfast. So far, after talking with the nurse, it has been better. (This excludes the poop issue today! That was another boy.)

Sick - Throughout the week, I have been sick (according to others). I won't necessarily admit it though. I have a bad cough and my voice comes and goes. I was even out a day. Throughout the day, you could have heard my students ask, "Miss Barker are you okay?" or "Miss Barker what's wrong with your voice?" They have been sweet about it, but I hate being sick!

Read Across America Week - I love dressing up with the students for each day. Here are some favorites from the week.

My mom made this special headband hat for me. Thank goodness she can crochet!

Pajama day was my favorite. I may have changed my sleep mask while they were at lunch to mess with them. You have to amuse yourself somehow!

Overall, it wasn't too bad of a week. On a side note, have you signed up for my email? I'm working on a new product line and sending out a freebie that goes along with it to all subscribers on Sunday. Sign up below if you haven't joined yet.
