Weekly Recap: The Good and the Bad

Confessions of a Frazzled Teacher

Overall, this week has been back to our normal routine. I was out on Wednesday but that's a story for down below. Right now, I'm just glad it's the weekend! I'm exhausted!

Confessions of a Frazzled Teacher

Substitute - On Wednesday I was out so my students had a substitute. Saying they were awful is an understatement. Nightmare might be a better term. I think every teacher on my floor had to pop their head in and yell at my students. I am still disgusted by their behavior. I think they scarred the sub for life. I don't imagine she will ever want to sub in the building again!

Crazy - It seems like everyone has gone crazy at school. I'm not just talking about the kids. I'm also talking about the adults. I attribute this to our Spring Break being so late this year. Nine more school days to go...

Confessions of a Frazzled Teacher

April Fools' Day - I had a blast on April Fools' Day! I was able to prank my students three times throughout the day, through a Brain Break, a Word Search with no words, and Brown-E's. Embracing April Fools' Day has been one of the best things I have ever done.

Caught Up - With all the testing and conferences last week, I was finally able to get caught up in my work. This week I kept up with it too. I left school today with no papers to grade and all my grades are in the computer. I can truly relax this weekend!

My Team - I could include them every week! I am so lucky to be part of such an incredible team! Our daily therapy sessions help me release any negatives from the day so I can go home in such a great mood!
