Happy Teacher Appreciation Week! I hope that you felt appreciated by your students/school/district/community. If not, know that I appreciate you!
Personally, if you are following my home buying experience, I started looking at homes! I've gotten to see plenty that I definitely do NOT want! There is one though that is a real contender! Stay tuned!

Crazy Students - Yesterday my students were crazy! This made me crazy! I may have lost my temper big time! I capped my day off with 5 phone calls home. What an exciting way to end the day!
Messy Table - I don't have a desk in my classroom but I have a table that I am always working on. It's one of the kidney bean shaped tables perfect for small groups. After being called into an unexpected meeting on Tuesday morning, I fell behind on everything. Then I was pulled into another meeting yesterday unexpectedly. My table became so full of junk! It drove me crazy and caused me to stay late today to clean it up!
Take a look at this disaster! After staying late today, it's finally clean!
Mystery Doug - Since adding the 6 Minute Podcast last week in the afternoon, I was looking for a little something in the morning. Mystery Doug is a video series (I think on it's available on YouTube but I use the link below.) that answers a question each week. For example, yesterday we watched the video Why Do We Yawn? The most current video also lets your class vote for future topics. To sign up for Mystery Doug, click HERE. I use this website and not YouTube because there are no ads.
Parental Support - I must say that I have had to make many phone calls since being back from break! At least parents are being extra supportive! Now if only we could get my students back on track!
