It's been a while since I wrote anything. 😞 I didn't get a chance to share some of our fun Thanksgiving activities. Here are a few.
1. Cranberry Experiments - We threw the cranberries on the floor to test for freshness, checked for ability to float or sink, and tried them.
2. Made Butter - Each group got a container with whipping cream. They shook it until it became butter. It's a little bland since we didn't add salt, but the students loved the process!
3. Disguise a Turkey - We tried the Disguise a Turkey project. Then they wrote about their disguises. It was interesting. Below is the most interesting turkey.
Do you think she likes wiggly eyes?
4. Pumpkin Pie in a Bag - My favorite activity was making pumpkin pie. It was yummy! Definitely a crowd pleaser! We reviewed our sequencing skills as well as learned different types of measurement.
