Weekly Recap - The Good and the Bad

Confessions of a Frazzled Teacher

This was another long week filled with meetings (one going until 9 one night), testing, and challenging students.

Confessions of a Frazzled Teacher

Challenging Student - This week was extra challenging when it came to one particular girl. She was beastly - mean to other students and flat out defiant. She was like this at the beginning of the year, but we worked together to get it under control. Now, this girl has regressed to earlier behavior. It took a couple of days for me to realize that she was acting out, because she is worried about next school year. I've started formulating a plan to really address this next week. It will either be in The Good or The Bad section then. 😄

Testing - This was another week filled with testing, but now I am officially DONE for the rest of the school year! I just hate how much it throws our schedule off.

Testing Results - I am pleased with the huge increases my students made this year. It's almost too bad it wasn't an observation year...

Teacher Appreciation Week - Today I got the cutest gift from one of my students - the candy bouquet below. It was ironic that it came from my most challenging student (see The Bad above).

How was your week?
What was good and bad for you?
