Make It Thursday - Accelerated Reader Chart

Confessions of a Frazzled Teacher

My school uses Accelerated Reader (AR). I love using this...probably because I used it when I was in school. Last year I added a new way of tracking points for my students, an AR Points Clip Chart. My students LOVED moving their names up the chart.

Where to find the materials?

* Clip Chart (Make your own or download one of mine from Teachers Pay Teachers by clicking the pics below. I am in the process of making a couple of others. Let me know if you have a certain theme that you would like a chart for.)

Accelerated Reader (AR) Posters to Display Student Progress - Pirates    Accelerated Reader (AR) Posters to Display Student Progress - Bubbles    Accelerated Reader (AR) Posters to Display Student Progress - Superheroes

* Binder Rings

* Ribbon

* Hole Punch

* Clothespins

How do I make these?

1. Punch a hole in each corner of the pages.

2. Use a binder ring to connect the pages.

3. Put a ribbon on top. I hang mine on a command hook.

4. Put students' names on clothespins and move them up as they make their point goals.

What things would you like to make on Thursdays with me?
