I must admit that I am a sucker for the Little Old Lady books. I don't care that they are definitely written for younger students. My third graders enjoy them!

All of these books are great at teaching struggling students how to sequence. The order of events is clearly written out and repeated throughout the entire story. I also love that there are almost always tons of freebies on Teachers Pay Teachers offering materials for each of these stories.

This book, in particular, is perfect for Easter without being religious. Since I teach in a public school I  have to be careful of the books centered around certain holidays. The Old Lady books are available each month without any worries that they are religious at all!

Here are some other fun Little Old Lady books...

Do you have a favorite Old Lady book? I think mine might be the one in which she swallowed books but that shouldn't surprise anyone!

What book do you recommend?
